Today we sadly left our "home" and moved about a block away to the Waterfront Inn - still very nice but it's not a house with a golf car and bikes. Instead it has secure high speed Internet access and a hot tub spa and pool. We've used them all but I already miss whipping around in our golf car!! Richard didn't golf today and that's a good thing. …
Can you believe this? We are in Ft. Lauderdale to start our cruise tomorrow, and the very first thing I did when I got here was drop the bag that had my laptop and my CAMERA in it! On the pavement! You know how I am about my camera. I think they are both OK, but if the pictures I take on the trip aren't that great, I'm on record as having a good excuse. ;)
For the fourth time, I'm going on a "trip of a lifetime" to Europe, but this time I'm taking the long way. No girls trip this time. This time there will be no gelato or pastry lunches. It's guaranteed that I will be having three squares a day because my traveling companion this time is my hubby. Why the long way, though? John has been adamant about not wanting to go to Europe--EVER! ("Too much to see in the States.") ...
