... night in Chepstow. So a get a light omelet, that arrives with some French Fries on the side. It's funny how you always seem to have room for a cheeky one or two. I jump on board, plonk myself down and lady then takes the seat next to me. She says 'Hello' and I instantly recognise the ascent of being Welsh - They get everywhere! She's from Swansea and funnily enough I was there this time last year with Helen, my brother Aled and ...

Blizzard Beach - not chilly at all

We had a chill out day at Blizzard Beach, all a bit tired out. Great water rides and literally buckets of ice creams. They also had an ice cream with bacon bits in it, can't say we were tempted.

At night we ate a lovely meal at our hotel, at Olivia's Cafe. Good food, especially the banana bread pudding. Gary & I failed to finish it even though we shared.

      ... hour!

After this, we watched the Shrek 4-D film (not really worth the wait), then headed towards the Simpsons Ride. The wait for this still said 5-10 minutes but as we were approaching, it began to rain. Usually a bit of rain in Florida is accompanied by lightning, so the theme parks tend to temporarily close the big rides. As the Simpsons Ride is indoors, it's immune to storms, but also means it's one of the few functioning attractions at such a time. ...

... in a (tiny) little bit of down-time at Magic Kingdom, we aimed to get to Disney Hollywood Studios for opening time.

By planning on getting the same LYNX bus as yesterday to the Ticket and Transportation Centre near Magic Kingdom, then one of the free Disney buses to Hollywood Studios, we would arrive for 9am. Unfortunately, our Uber driver took his time arriving, and got us to the LYNX bus station just as our bus was leaving. 30 minutes later, we boarded our bus, ...

      Around the World at Epcot

We chose Epcot for our first day at Disney. We had things all planned out as to what rides we needed to get FastPass+ for and then what rides we'd need to head for first to beat the long lines. Of course, with two young kids plans often get way-layed. We didn't cover near as much of this park as we thought we would, but that was fine, as we have another day planned for Epcot later in the week.

Part of what took extra time was running back and forth to ...
