This suited us fine for an overnight stop well on the way to Rocky Mountain NP. It was out of season so quiet. You have to go into town for breakfast - we went a little farther on to Sharkeys which was outstanding

    True to its name

Very friendly staff and it was clean enough - but the building and the rooms are truly vintage. If you're into old stuff and don't mind dated interiors you'll do just fine here. I was shocked to discover they had wifi in the building. We had a studio with a pull-down bed, our chief complaint was actually the pillows that were totally flat so we both woke up with neck aches. All in all it is close to the lifts and reasonably priced off-season.

... busy so I head out. As I leave it starts to rain. The day was warm, and the sun bright, but this rain came from the mountains and it was freezing. I was only in a shirt and shorts. I though I could handle it on my walk to the car but I had to shelter which didn't really help as with the rain had come the wind and it drove right through me and my wet clothes. I continued to move and sought refuge in the warm Prius. I headed back and ...

... So from chicago we drove to the apostle islands on the northern coust of Wisconsin which is a set of islands in Lake Superior. It was an interesting time because the campground we had reservations at ended up being owned by a large casino. It was pretty funny to go from the tent on the edge of the lake and walk into a casino to get water and take showers. Lots of old people playing slots and smoking inside. we spent two days camping there and did a hike along the coast and ...

... would have plenty of time to drive from Boulder to Evergreen. We got up on time and I inhaled my usual bowl of instant oatmeal which is my "go to " fuel for long rides and off we went into the darkness.
We found our way to one of the parking lots in Evergreen and proceeded to get ready to go. Now I should point out here that I really had to go and I'm not referring to the ride. The problem is that they only had two porta potties and there were already ...

... time he’s had to say no to a much loved burger since turning veggie. There was a fringe festival going on, with roads closed off and stalls, so we had a quick look around. I managed to resist a T shirt with a picture of Sexy Jesus wearing shades! I was intrigued with a Core Yoga place there, where you can have unlimited yoga membership for around $180 a month, with classes from 6am every day. Why isn’t there one of those in Neath??
