It's me writing the 'blog' at the moment - I've been let loose to put a few words down - so here goes.... We all arrived safely and picked up the car - hardly a car a big Jeep Cherokee 4 wheel drive - it was advised because we could get bad weather! stopped on the way to our stay for a fuel (food) stop - crepes with lemon filling and topped off …

... a gift to their sister city, Boulder. It was disassembled, crated up into more than 200 crates and sent halfway around the world to be rebuilt in Boulder as a symbol of friendship and cultural exploration - insane but very beautiful and serves a mean cup of tea! A wander round Boulder's Pearl street and for the children, a play in the fountains and we were off to Rocky Mountain National ...

Dennis had plenty of experience with the Black Death and resolved this issue relatively painlessly and on budget! A huge shout out to Dennis and his crew!! Not only did they help us resolve this issue, he educated us on a number ...

... The ride didn't happen for the girls because of wind conditions and I was disappointed for them. We went to dinner at Mountain Sun and had a wonderful time. The waitress (who was originally from Georgia) loved my necklace that I bought at Lowe Mill. I decided to give it to her after dinner and she ran around the restaurant showing it to everyone saying, "it was her birthday and she gave me a gift". It was cute. Today at work, there ...

... time he’s had to say no to a much loved burger since turning veggie. There was a fringe festival going on, with roads closed off and stalls, so we had a quick look around. I managed to resist a T shirt with a picture of Sexy Jesus wearing shades! I was intrigued with a Core Yoga place there, where you can have unlimited yoga membership for around $180 a month, with classes from 6am every day. Why isn’t there one of those in Neath??

After that, I ...

This suited us fine for an overnight stop well on the way to Rocky Mountain NP. It was out of season so quiet. You have to go into town for breakfast - we went a little farther on to Sharkeys which was outstanding

Very friendly staff and it was clean enough - but the building and the rooms are truly vintage. If you're into old stuff and don't mind dated interiors you'll do just fine here. I was shocked to discover they had wifi in the building. We had a studio with a pull-down bed, our chief complaint was actually the pillows that were totally flat so we both woke up with neck aches. All in all it is close to the lifts and reasonably priced off-season.
