... one but they are offered all over the world so I may do it elsewhere. In keeping with my new MO I am not making any plans about when/where to take the course yet - I will play that by ear. And if I find some work here school will have to wait a bit longer.

So I'm starting a new page and we'll see where it all takes me. I've had an amazing and rewarding journey so far and I don't expect that to change.

It was great to hear from two people I hadn't seen in a long time, and since everyone seems to be in a transition stage right now there's always a lot to say. Day 5

I missed a day (oh no...), but its ok because our trip has been extended a bit so there will be more posts to make up for it!

Day 4 was of course more of the same. Driving, driving, driving. This was only interrupted by brief stops for gas and a visit to pizza hut. LCB and Mshizz are likely to be proud of me for stopping at Za Hut, because they know its not generally my favorite place to get a slice. But...when you're road trippin' in the middle of ...

... and music and I thought I ought to take advantage of this cultural offering...and I'm glad I did. The opera was Tales of Hoffman (I'd never heard of it) and the production was quite enjoyable. The costumes were fabulous! This photo appeared in a review in the Denver Post and described Olympia's robot costume as weighing 75 pounds! Her performance was incredible.

... the pullout. We went with Nao and his friends (Rob & Mark). Nao lead the trad climbs while I cleaned the routes. We did the routes... Jam It (5.8), Ho Hum (5.4), and Fistula (5.4).

... Pete's and the rest of the time sat in the park, me reading, chris knitting. In the afternoon we set out for Boulder, arriving only to discover that a hose leading to our coolant system had burst and that there wasn't any coolant left in the car. I think I was more elated to be out of Kansas rather than my destination state! But truly, I can say, it was a beautiful state, and now I really have seen "amber waves of grain", and I am proud for having done it, and I have no need to go back for a while!
