This suited us fine for an overnight stop well on the way to Rocky Mountain NP. It was out of season so quiet. You have to go into town for breakfast - we went a little farther on to Sharkeys which was outstanding

    True to its name

Very friendly staff and it was clean enough - but the building and the rooms are truly vintage. If you're into old stuff and don't mind dated interiors you'll do just fine here. I was shocked to discover they had wifi in the building. We had a studio with a pull-down bed, our chief complaint was actually the pillows that were totally flat so we both woke up with neck aches. All in all it is close to the lifts and reasonably priced off-season.

Of course none of this would be possible without the blessing of my super, great, fantastic, extremely understanding, absolutely best wife in the whole universe Shelly. So the plans were made and we decided to arrive on Tues. 7/9 with the ride being on Sat.7/13 because that would give us the proper amount of time to get acclimated (queue the ...

We arrived in Louisville, where Alex used to live before she married Jeff, so we saw her old house and work. I wanted to buy scrapbook stuff, so we went to this big store in Louisville. I found a lot of stuff and Alex bought some Easter things.

Then we went into Boulder and walked around the shopping street, shopping all sorts of stuff. I ...
