... hotel at 9 to give ourselves plenty of time to get to Kings Cross and find out where we need to go. Carrying our luggage from the hotel to Pimlico station was a lot harder then I thought it would be. We finally made it to Pimlico and caught the tube to Kings Cross with plenty of time to spare, so we sat down to rest our legs at Pret and I had a coffee. We eventually found out which platform we had to catch the train from (unfortunately it wasn't platform 9 3/4) ...
... Rochdale the narrow boats were almost pushing their way through the floating rubbish. I don't understand Rochdale - the people I talked to were well aware of the mess but quite accepting of it. I wonder why they tolerate it, why don't they get off their butts and set up litter picking groups to sort the mess out - it wouldn't take much effort?
