... at two little boys, "so what do you want for Christmas?". I'm not sure but I think one of them may have wet this breeches.

Lunch was at the North Pole Mexican restaurant. It was far from any Mexican that I had ever had before but, hey, we are in Alaska. We just beat dark clouds back to camp. I got together another batch of postcards written and addressed for the kids and hit the hay early because our drive/fly to the Arctic is scheduled for 5 a.m.

After leaving the camp ground I saw a moose walking through the trees, but by the time I stopped and got the camera out he had disappeared. After arriving in Fairbanks I found a McDonald's to use their wifi and power to recharge my devices. On entering McDonald's the girl behind the counter must have realised what I was looking for as she directed me to a table which had power outlets. ... was the fist to land a monster King Salmon. After the struggles to get it up through the ice I was able to snap a photo although it is out of focus due to its proximity to the lens. Overall the group caught about 10 of these guys throughout the evening. About Midnight Reinhard made us a tasty dinner of pan roasted salmon and veggies. ... what I was looking for. Cafe' Americano! But was it hot in there! With these crazy mild temperatures, they can't control the heat. Even with the front door open, it was crazy hot. I would never have thought we'd get these warm temps here. Other than the few times we've been able to go out Aurora Hunting, we've been overdressed. All the planning for gear! Dang!
