... didn't feel like we really knew Fairbanks. We drove around downtown some more and took a few pictures and ventured out the Steese Hwy. Chena Hot Springs was 56 miles away and too far to go so we went out to the site of Fox an old gold mining town and found instead Silver Gulch Brewery - a great brewery with a good food menu also.

... dogs were like little excited school kids as some were chosen to be hooked up to the gang line. Jumping up and down and barking, "Choose me". * On the trail, the last two dogs in harness seemed to be best buddies and were all about playing around with each other. We had stopped there on our drive south (so I could use the outhouse and Randy could take a pic of a float plane)!
