So we had a bit of a change of plan last night. Over dinner we discussed our options for what we would do prior to getting to Washington. We decided that it would be a smarter option to put in a really solid day of driving today, and spend tomorrow experiencing a place rather than two half days of driving with nothing that we really wanted to do for the other portion of the day. ... and browsed the many shops, including a wonderful quilt shop. The town changed its name only recently. I think it was previously known as Crossed Keys. I am not sure why the change. The way out of DC was a nightmare due to road blocks and heavy storms. Late in the evening we finally arrived in our B & B in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The reward for the tiring ride was a very warm welcome by the friendly host family and a spacious, lovely room.
