A great place to spend the night. Every room has an amazing view of the valley as does the restaurant.
Wifi is available in the lobby of the hotel and the gift shop has lots of nice souveneirs.

The rooms are very comfortable as well.

This hotel is located right in the Monument Valley Tribal Park, and it's owned and operated by Navajo Tribe. The architecture of the hotel is great, it blends in the environment it's built in. It offers a modern comfort that you would expect from a great hotel in the middle of desert land. The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. Also the restaurant offers great food. I had a great experience and would go back.

Great hotel. The name says it all. This is a bucket list place to visit. Staff were friendly, room was lovely. Had a very large "starlight room" worth the extra. Be aware that there is no wi-fi or phone signal in the rooms. Not sure why no wi-fi, they have it in the lobby.

This place in Monument Valley Tribal Park is GORGEOUS! And called The View for good reason - every vertical flat surface has a window in it, even the lift. Aside from the aesthetics, every detail for your comfort is considered; the shampoo & conditioner is good quality, there are magnets in the corners of the shower curtain so it stays put, great art on the walls. Comfortable beds & pillows. Room numbers in braille.
10% off authentic Navajo crafts for guests, good local food in the restaurant. Free internet.
Highly recommended....I loved it and didn't want to leave. Well done guys.

Slept in this morning still trying to get me feeling better. There were hot air balloons all over the sky when we woke up, they were preparing for the balloon fiesta that weekend. Since there was no way I was missing Monument Valley we decided to head on, so arrived there at around 3pm I think, and had to lie down for the afternoon. Unfortunately …

To see the sunset and the sunrise one usually has to be on location. The nearest towns/cities other than Kayenta were hundreds of miles away - at least those who advertised on WWW. So we splashed out and decided to stay at 'The View' Hotel right bang in the centre of things. We were not dis-appointed.

The place was impeccable - it was …

Day Three -- bike ride on the canyon's rim and off to Monument Valley

We had one last outing before we left the Grand Canyon. We took the 10 am Hopi Point bike tour with Bright Angel bikes and it was a perfect way to end our time in the park. The two guides were excellent in sharing information in ways that kept everyone engaged (review …

As we had arrived late to Moab the day before we decided to visit Arches again and visit the famous Windows Arches and left the motel around 9am and so glad we did, quite amazing scenes. Left Arches at 11:15 so figured we had time for a quick visit to the neighbouring Canyonlands National Park before our scheduled Monument Valley tour. Turned out …

I hope the attached pics can give you just a glimpse of the spiritual feeling you get seeing the sun rise and set, at this little part of our universe. The Meyer pass reference is to a short cut through a national forest which warns you that it is an unplowed route. Needless to say there were section snow covered and rutted at times 24" of hard ice …
