A great place to spend the night. Every room has an amazing view of the valley as does the restaurant.
Wifi is available in the lobby of the hotel and the gift shop has lots of nice souveneirs.

The rooms are very comfortable as well.

This hotel is located right in the Monument Valley Tribal Park, and it's owned and operated by Navajo Tribe. The architecture of the hotel is great, it blends in the environment it's built in. It offers a modern comfort that you would expect from a great hotel in the middle of desert land. The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. Also the restaurant offers great food. I had a great experience and would go back.

Great hotel. The name says it all. This is a bucket list place to visit. Staff were friendly, room was lovely. Had a very large "starlight room" worth the extra. Be aware that there is no wi-fi or phone signal in the rooms. Not sure why no wi-fi, they have it in the lobby.

This place in Monument Valley Tribal Park is GORGEOUS! And called The View for good reason - every vertical flat surface has a window in it, even the lift. Aside from the aesthetics, every detail for your comfort is considered; the shampoo & conditioner is good quality, there are magnets in the corners of the shower curtain so it stays put, great art on the walls. Comfortable beds & pillows. Room numbers in braille.
10% off authentic Navajo crafts for guests, good local food in the restaurant. Free internet.
Highly recommended....I loved it and didn't want to leave. Well done guys.

Woke up to a beautiful, sunny morning. Birds are chirping. Air is fresh. Unfortunately, Dan didn’t sleep very well. He is really feeling the effects of the altitude. Breakfast wasn’t great, either. I had scrambled eggs, bacon, and home fries, but they were cold and bland. Dan’s omelet wasn’t much better. After breakfast, we …

Up early and on the road by 6am to head to Monument Valley via Mesa Verde. With our packed breakfast from the B&B host safely stowed in the car, we drove for a couple of hours to Mesa Verde and the landscape changed again to green and flat as we re-entered Colorado. Today we cross several borders.

At Mesa Verde we opened up our packed …

Last night we stayed up to take photos of the monuments as the sun set and the stars started to appear. This morning we awoke to the most spectacular rising sun and the 5:30am light started to fill the valley with life. We took a native guided tour through the valley to get up close to the monuments and see a number of significant sights which are …

Today we hiked 3 miles and went down 1120 feet on a trail that was rated difficult. Going down was very nice with lot of shade. It also had beautiful views. We made it to ooh aah point. Which was where we were originally going to turn back. But we actually decided we wanted to do more. So we made it all the way to cedar ridge. Going up was a lot …

Slept in this morning still trying to get me feeling better. There were hot air balloons all over the sky when we woke up, they were preparing for the balloon fiesta that weekend. Since there was no way I was missing Monument Valley we decided to head on, so arrived there at around 3pm I think, and had to lie down for the afternoon. Unfortunately …
