... a knowledgeable and interesting adventure of the cliff dwelling community and caves. After the tour we had the opportunity to explore ourselves so we headed for the spruce tree house caves in which we got the opportunity to go down into one of the kevas which was absolutely brilliant and visit the museum which was really interesting to learn about how the pueblo people lived and survived. ... but they can never do justice to something like this. Most come back sometime and explore it close up - a trek would be ideal!
Later on in the day we pass through Monument Valley - another awesome place of *********e mountains left in place after surrounding rock has been eroded away over the years. The shapes (monuments) were incredible - hope the photos do them justice!

... hike in the top 2 scenic hikes in north america. I was stopped 15 min from the lakes due to snow. I am determined to get up there. I am coming back later next week w/ snow shoes. I will get there! The scenery on the trail was spectacular.
