A sign pointing to rock pools had caught our attention earlier, so before leaving we went to the mouth of the river to check them out. We had no idea that WA even had a wine industry, so we were totally unprepared for the sheer number of wineries we saw (more than 70, I heard later). It was a great surprise and an unexpected dash of added flavor to the end of the day's ride.
