We started off the day with a long walk along the beachfront into Busselton to check out the town. The main feature and attraction is the 1.8km jetty which dominates the shorefront. The centre of the town is really nice with a lot of nice shops, cafés and restaurants. We stopped off for coffee and then started the long walk back. By then it was lunchtime. ... a fortnight. It might also be a retirement destination, because we've many other travelers around "the southwest" who live in or near Bunbury. It does have some attractive features - some of the beaches are just brilliant!

Bunbury and Bussellton are prime seaside holiday destinations for Perth-siders, and like our Mornington Peninsular, do what they can to deter people camping (or "sleeping overnight") in beach carparks etc, so we need to find a Caravan Park to stay ...
