We flew on Air Canada both from La Guardia Airport in New York to Toronto, and then again to Edmonton. The airport at Toronto is very clean and modern; and going through Customs and the transfer of passengers to other planes is handled very efficiently. The whole day and the two flights were quite uneventful, but a bit tiring.

This morning Marc and Kathrin took us to Elk Island National Park to see some Bison/buffalo. The Park is about 45 kilometers from Edmonton, and is a very popular picnic place for families.

Les sources sont les plus chaudes des Rocheuses, et l'eau est pompée de la source et transférée (et refroidie) dans quatre bassins à des températures différentes. L'eau peut atteindre 53.9C (129F) quand elle sort de la source et elle est gardée au plus chaud à 40C (104F) dans les piscines et au plus froid à 10C (50F) (ça m'a fait mal juste à mettre mon pied dedans!) ...
