      ... t have to go outside from Friday night until Sunday afternoon. The hotel is part of the mall so no need to go outside. This meant that I did not have to carry my jacket, mittens, scarf or beanie with me. I could walk from my hotel room to the food area in my jeans, top and shoes unencumbered. I took my thongs along because I knew I'd be at the waterpark and proceeded to wear them all weekend. My friends were a little jealous of not having had the foresight.

      ... more communicative and friendly. They check in with us periodically to see if we have any needs and they seem much more eager to please.       ... through on the run, we counted four kiwis home before seeing him, and knew instantly he appeared that something wasn't quite right. In spite of the high-five to the finish line, things were not well in Camp Shanks.       ... call dry or humid air, but truth is, that since we came, there has been so moisture, nowdays in snow, that we have already so much of it as nowhere in the world and in early December we have at least half a meter already.

      Our first winter in Canada in 2011-12 we spent in the mountains of British Columbia, in areas with the highest snowfall in the world. I would say Edmonton does not stay much behind BC when talking about snowfall.
