    ... obviously a cheer leading competition on as lots of young girls (and boys) were dressed for cheerleading. There were bands playing and people dressed up and a general carnival atmosphere.     ... the price of staples back home. Gas/petrol is roughly 1.16L here, double what I most recently paid. The meal was along the same lines.

    We must all be getting older as Julie is more mostly than semi-retired and John is leaving his [mad?] scientist job next year when he turns 60. If you are working all the time there is little time left to enjoy life. Nice to have law in the rear view mirror.
