... entered into the iPad & we're off. Shopping nirvana is 32 miles/45 minutes away down the NY Thruway which is a 6 lane toll road. Getting there was a breeze, no rain, light traffic. We arrived not long after it opened so parking was simple, the place was really lovely but it started to rain (a very fine mist that didn't let up all day) First stop, Polo Ralph Lauren of course. ... which were all closed up this time but were being used when I did this same trip in the summer of 2012. We also had free wi fi once we crossed into the US which is always great & the train had a viewing carriage which we each visited for a while. If you ever visit this area & you have time, the train is terrific. This climb was AMAZING!!!! Talk about some exposure! There is this one part of the beginning of the second pitch where you move up and out of a roof. To get out from under the roof, you are squatting like a frog. You have to move yourself out from under the roof and find the side pull with the right hand and slowly stand up to find a good left hand over the roof to move onto the rock face.
