... the metro station was just a 3 minute walk away, as I was only able to beat him half-heartedly before I needed to lie down.
Our hostel was lovely - the owner bakes a cake every day, the bar was cheap and the beds actually had nice bedding. We were staying in Vila Madalena, the artsy part of Sao Paolo, and quickly found an amazing deli with a cafe. After 2 yummy beers and much-needed fresh food, Sampa (as it's known in Brazil) was winning our votes. Ollie's sandwich was ...
... had an ice cream...and all this after an all you can eat sushi restaurant which was amazing!
The day after we went to Embu das Artes with Nero and Ravi, the dogs. A village about 30 minutes away from the center, with a street handcrafts market, and many cafes and stands with salty and sweet nibbles. Perfect to walk arround and do some shopping!

People here in Brazil are so friendly and nice. A girl I was with in the bus saw me with Lari and gave me a thumbs up! haha! I wouldn't know what could've happened to me if the couple didn't help me at all. I also realized with this trip that I am very courageous. If I was shy and scared, I couldn't have done what I just did. *pat on the back!* Gonna go to Limeira later, after lunch, to start my work. Blog again tomorrow! ...
