Day 12
The travelling day Got up early to what looked like a nicer day and headed into town for a quick bite and to grab some supplies for the travelling ahead. The people are delightful
The food, of course....
The climate (while we were there) was great
The cost of eating, drinking etc is phenomenally low. (Our 1.5 litre of drinking water was costing us 25 rupees (30 pence). When we landed at Heathrow, we had to buy a 500ml bottle which cost us £2.00!!)
The railways. They appear to be very efficient
To see such different plants growing, animals living, fruit to eat etc was just fantastic

Hail to the Bunting
... where one of the last remaining pieces of unimproved chalk downland in the county is preserved. I had read that there had been lots of Ring Ouzels seen there in the week and as I hadn’t been there before I thought I would try to find it and have a look.
