... less effective anyway. A very different story from on our original visit and the need to extract 40 for 'essential' injections. No apologies for misinformation and no hint of a refund.
So we have decided not to worry about getting typhoid - well I have, but Sue has been reading 'City of Joy' which is set in Kolkata where we will spend a month in December, and I can see just a little more furrowing of the brows with each chapter that she reads.

Apologies for being a little naughty and not letting on that Andy, Caroline & Tim completed the Inca trail alone whilst I took the advice of the wonderful Doctor Alfredo Jijon at the Metropolitano hospital in Quito and spent four days lazing around eating and sleeping back at the hotel in Cuzco before taking the train to Machu Picchu to meet up with them at the end of their trek.

... and moored on a GOBA mooring a mile further on. A dog from a cruiser nearby kept barking for no apparent reason. Thankfully they moved on an hour later.
