... beach, swimming pools, comfy beds and Sherpa like luggage men to carry our bags up and down the massive hill! One of the staff recommended a local barbers for my birthday haircut, only to find out it was run by ladyboys! She did a great job. We booked in for a birthday diving session the next morning and had a nice dinner to settle in. My first birthday away from home was a bit strange but amazing at the same time, spending the morning diving around Shark ...

... for the night. 3 hotels and no luck. If they were upright, they were full with people in the lobby. The driver even tried to take us to a few that were literally in cliff edges. After the first few tries we stopped and I accepted that I either had to go to the doctors or go to a tattoo ...

A mere 20 minute drive from the beautiful beach are the most famous and respected temples in Phuket. Creating a unique experience for thousands of travellers each year the Chalong temples are dedicated to two monks who used their knowledge of herbal medicines to help in the rebillion of 1876. Many buildings inside the temple hold ancient relics ...

... place via the small bussy streets of Ko Phi Phi. Ko Phi Phi is a nice little bussy town, Thailands Shangri-La, were a lot of business is going on at day and at night! What we directly picked up was that there are many many tattoo shops, massage rooms and good places for a drink. But that the people are still building or rebuilding a lot. After a very nice dinner and a Mai Thai cocktail in a pine apple we also booked directly a day tour for the next day and a diving trip for the day ...
