... We were only able to watch the Gibbons that can not be introduced back to the wild. The rest of our time was spent relaxing on the beach, watching the football matches, and using the hostels wifi. ... at our private beach taking in the beauty of Phi Phi. The last evening was spent relaxing whilst Rach & Danny had their first Thai Beach Massage. So all in all we enjoyed Phi Phi, 2 nights was enough, it was beautiful indeed. Although with the amount of tourists and boats engines slowly damaging the clear emerald coloured waters it does make us wonder... Will it be as beautiful in 5 years time? And we can only imagine how stunning it must of been even 5-10 years ...

Anita's Thailand adventure has begun. We are staying in Old Town Phuket, a much quieter and pleasant place than the more touristy beach areas. We feel safe at night wandering around Old Town. There aren’t many tourists and the locals are friendly. It has a strong Portuguese influence on the architecture and we enjoyed exploring the little laneways and finding beautiful townhouses and galleries and cafes. It had a nice mix of modern and history in the town.

... fairly long drive, we were at the regional police station. It was quite obvious to us that the taxi driver had somewhere else to be, but he still seemed willing to help us out.
