It is fairly easy to get to Taichung since the new high speed rail, traditional Taiwanese rail road from the Japanese era and various bus companies provide service to Taichung. This city is sometimes known<br>as the motel capital of Taiwan due to the sheer number of motels located here. Motels in Taiwan are not the same as motels in the ...

They serve normal Western breakfast (pancakes, eggs, potatoes). Almost as good as Perkins! ;) It was a little taste of home! We then met up with 2 other ...

Even though we passed on the opportunity, it is still nice that the locals are not intimidated to approach us and talk to us. It was a successful guys night out and there may even be plans in the works to have a second round in the near future.

Halfway through the feast, April appeared in her second dress as she and her fiancé walked up and down the aisles handing out flowers to those in attendance. The party had one of the more unique endings I have ever seen before. As April and her fiancé disappeared, the usher grabbed the ...

I have yet to see a "major" event (such as swimming, gymnastics, or basketball) other than the opening ceremonies from the Olympics on Taiwanese television. I must say that I have seen my share of Olympic badminton competitions. They absolutely love to ...

After class and our lunch break, we were both called into the administrator's office again. We were told that they had a new idea for us for the month of July. The plan would consist of me teaching a 3rd grade class (the Pandas), Katie teaching the 2nd graders, and ...

I, of course, stated that there was no rule about coaches not being allowed to join. Immediately a second clause was passed and added to the "no teacher" amendment, and I was shut out.
