... little things with quality of construction/work on the new unit. Wood finish much nicer on Max; WTH! There's a hole in the floor beside the passenger slide.....told that was so techs could get to water lines and electric lines if needed to repair them (put a piece of carpet there to cover it up); wood used in drawers felt thinner.

... guide' to our spot which was long and level, but narrow. Had to swing the coach out on a narrow entry road to get it between the concrete pad and electric post. There was a 3 ft high set of 4 metal electric pipes beside the entry road that I caught the back end of Max on. Wouldn't have been bad except it had been hit before and the top was bent out and the ends were rolled up. So Max now has a 'boo'. Nothing major, but an irritant.
We spent a very fast paced 3 days with our grandsons. We took them for the day on Sunday and anyone that has ever kept 3 little boys, 8, 7 and 6, know that is a tiring:)
We took them back to the camper for lunch and over to see the light house on St. Marks. There is a little hiking trail that the boys enjoyed. Overall a great visit. Also our oldest just got a house and we helped by keeping the boys away so they could paint the day away.
... We hit the road after the Capital tour and headed to our first overnite, Falling Waters State Park. Recent rains had ditches full of water, we wondered how the campground must look like. Luckily for us, the campsite was high and dry, we hooked up all the utilities, put out the slides, turned on the air-conditioning..... and simply enjoyed our first quiet evening in the RV for this summer.
... by way of introduction he said "Well I'm senile now, but I used to be stupid". His approach to life was "the destination ain't important, just the direction." He had so many other gems! He was great with the kids, pulled some spanish moss of a tree and showed Leila how the Indian's plaited it into rope, and he was determined to let Phoenix find his own way with driving the boat, as we went round and round in circles ...
