Namaste! Our Indian adventures kicked off with an unfortunate bout of pre-Delhi Delhi belly, but luckily after 2 days in bed recuperating and watching lots of old James Bond films on the TV we were ready to head out and explore this humungous city, with our first stop being for some dinner in a recommended little snack shop just off Connaught Place for Vegetarian Thalis and Masala Dosais.

We have to admit that Delhi really doesn't pack the wow factor that you imagine ...

At the back of the Taj there is a river and directly on the other side, is the foundation of what ...

... to see that when we asked to go to a restaurant, he took us back to the one we really liked. And now we know the name of the place. Chimney was the name! A very tiny place but the food was YUMMY!! But like all people who travel to India, our stomachs haven't been doing so great these last few days. So must say we weren't looking forward to en overnight train ride today. When arriving at the station the driver showed ...

... the result is a constant flood of noise.

After all that, it was a relief to reach Arvin's relatives' home, a comfortable condo in an older suburb (I think -- everything was still very densely packed). Only problem? Their English wasn't very good, and his Hindi was equally bad. So we were left to conduct very basic conversations, while he got plenty of practice in exercising his Hindi to the max!
