After our 4th overnight train ride from Katni to Delhi, we arrived a little apprehensive as many people had told us about the hectic pace and the sheer level of humanity trying to live there. Yes, we saw some pretty grim slums on the way in but I think our trick of being in India for 3 weeks previously has paid off as it was not as intimidating as we expected.
