After a few little final loose ends to tie up around the house, we'll head off this morning up to Leesburg where we will meet up with Martha and Keith, and head to Dulles airport.

Greenwood - Day Three - Monday.
Started the day off slowly enjoying a cup of good coffee and then got a text from Helen Jo a little after 7:00 asking if I was up. Fixed a second cup of coffee and called her and we talked for over an hour. In fact we talked too long. Jerry went back to the bedroom to read and went back to sleep. I figured he needed the rest so I didn't wake him after I finished talking with Helen Jo. We finally got it ...
... that was very informative and suggested some other places we might want to visit. Most of them were wineries though and as Jerry doesn't drink and I drink only a little and moscato at that we probably won't visit many of them. She said moscato hadn't made it to Virginia yet!

Today was my last day here on the farm in Brightwood :( I decided that even though it was Sunday, I would still get up early and feed the animals one last time! The cottage guests who are staying helped us with the feeding as well. Before the feeding I did a huge load of washing, yay! So nice to finally have all clean clothes. Feed up was fun! The morning was pretty much just packing and getting all my belongings together. About mid morning I went downstairs to help Dean with wine bottling! ...
... of berries too seemed endless but we finished it! It was cool to get to see all the berries that are growing. None of them except the red currants have started to grow but it's interesting to see what the bushes of each berries look like! So many varieties here at Brightwood! Fertilizing the berries took up most of the morning and then we went to pick 2 pounds of peppermint! That was an interesting task. Unfortunately the mint ...
