    A Quick Drive

A travel blog entry by yellowstoners on Nov 13, 2014

... there. in any case, we headed out as soon as we could and made out way further south. We did intend to stop and check out Mount Vernon, but we were simply too tired to make another stop that day. Pounding the pavement in D.C. really brought down our stamina for future adventures. So, we decided to drive as far as we could that day and stop for the night when we got tired ...

... rocks and we couldn't see where we had to step. They were also huge leaves so sometimes it felt like I was going snowboarding down the mountain on leaves. I have little feet so this wasn’t a problem for Chris. Haha! The views at the top of the trail were fantastic and we took some great photos. I have never seen rain this hard this ...

Went to visit momma hen and her babies and gave them food too! after feeding Zach and I went to the farmhouse to start with the picking of vegetables. We started with buk choy, red choy, kale and then the ...

SAY NO TO EMUS AND CAMELS!

... it won’t be long before we find a way to take some more trips together, but we knew we would miss them! We almost accidently found a campsite that was advertised along the road but which didn’t appear in any of our books. It was in a wide valley, right beside a river and unusually had a Restaurant. We stayed and made full use of the facilities and had yet another catch-up day before visiting again. It has surprised us both that ...
