I have never seen rain this hard this ...

... the fence around their area and it had gotten stuck and had been dead for a few days :( poor chicken! I disposed of it... And it had maggots crawling around it which was pretty gross. After the animals we went to go pick elderflowers off the trees and then came back and cut them off their stems to prepare them for our elderflower cordial we were going to make. It was pretty cool watching the cordial get made downstairs! I love learning and ...

... were young, we almost always dry camped and mostly in state parks and national parks, so this brought back some good memories. Now that we have gotten older and are less energetic, we prefer KOA's and nicer full service RV parks. We have a built-in excuse because our refrigerator has never worked well in warm weather without electrical hookups. Fortunately, it has been cool the last few days, so we had no problems. ...
