This time last week I was pretty much just about to get up in cold Telford and set off on my 5000 mile journey from Manchester. This week, I'm sat in my nice little apartment with the fan on to cool me down in warm and sunny Jacksonville! We had a great day touring St. Augustine, the oldest European city in the United States. We took the trolley around and really enjoyed seeing this beautiful city. Yesterday it rained all day but today was clear if a little cool.

Never knew that the history of United States really started here. This colony started before Jamestown. Ponce de Leon was not looking for the Fountain of Youth, he was looking for gold for the King of Spain.
