Diving on Jeju Island
... from them there were bright yellow angel-looking type fish, bright blue tiny fish, schools of shiny scaled fish, and we saw one big flounder. Probably the coolest creature was a huge cannonball jellyfish that was bigger than my head and a dark brown color.
I felt much more comfortable on these dives than during my first trip to the East Sea. Even with a pretty nasty sinus infection I was able to do okay with equalizing my ears to the water pressure.

Chill out time on the dormant volcano
... more than one of these trips we were delayed by a demonstration against the construction on a naval base on the south coast. The police were out in force and employed various techniques to prevent the protestors from blocking the road and preventing the construction traffic from leaving the site.

Day 8 Rainy Day
... Museum. Eenmaal daar kwamen we er achter dat we veels te vroeg waren dan de afgesproken tijd. Na een tijd wachtend in het museum.. kwamen Sophie en Anouk later aan.

Day 7 The Beach
Al vroeg wakker door gesnurk en warmte zijn Sophie en Romee verhuised naar de woonkamer om daar te gaan slapen. Helaas staan Koreanen vroeg op. Om 7 uur stond iedereen paraat met ontbijt en zat iedereen al rond de tafel waar wij nog half sliepen, ini en Anouk waren later ook wakker en gingen we vervolgens ook beginnen aan het ontbijt.
Kevin was alweer bezig met achter de kat aan te rennen (die het niet zo op Kevin voorzien had en dus telkens wegrende) ...
Jeju: Sweat Equity
... feel long. The falls and tourist sites were nice, but nothing special and cheap enough that I could justify seeing them (about $2 per site). The best part is of course the hiking. I met a couple of people on the trail and otherwise had the lovely silence of feeling like I'm on some real tropical island, not the overdeveloped juggernaut Jeju actually is. Plus, the Jeju government has really done well to integreated these trails with towns and pre-existing locales so ...
