... engineering marvel! All vehicles had to go through a check point and as we were pulling a trailer we had to pull into another section....had to pull back the tonneau cover and open every bin in the back of the truck, followed by the request to open the tent trailer and further open the bins stored there (All this time, travel campers were being quickly inspected and sent on their way toward the dam, a little a nerving! I suppose traveling with Ontario ...
I awoke to the knowledge that it was my Australian birthday. The plan was to meet downstairs for breakfast at 9.30 am and hit the shops at 10 when they opened. I told Leanne the wrong time so she was behind by an hour and running late all day.

... it was very hot. To recover from last night today we went shopping - Stephen is a much better shopper than me. I am truely gob smacked, tonight we went to see Cirque de Soleil, which was fantastic, but when walking through the casino after the show, we saw a bride - white dress, veil, playing the slot machines, we think the groom was playing next to her, although we did see a guy in a tuxedo loitering ...
... to the Luxor, where we grabbed a quick brunch. Kids has McD’s and it was great to hear the kids say it was rubbish and they would have preferred something else.
We went to the Titanic exhibition which was really good. Lots of pieces salvaged from the wreck but told in a chronological flow and the centre section was a refrigerated room with a huge floor to ceiling block of ice in the centre shaped like an iceberg ...

Our room is on the 20th floor and has good views across the city towards the east.
Not wishing to succumb to the jet lag our tour guide (me) forced us out of the room before we could collapse on the bed.
