Can't Believe We Paid this much...

We were sinply astounded by how misleading the promos were on this so-so hotel. The beach outside your door is the only redeeming feature for a very small room. CD players in every room? - not exactly what we envisioned - they are little alarm clocks with a transistor style cd player! And the jacuzzi? Way in the back of the bathroom - merely a small jetted tub, so don't imagine yourself soaking with the stereo on while admiring the view. Construction quality is low end as well. We spent our entire visit miserable from the snoring sounds of the guests in the neighboring room. Finally, unless you're into Granny style knick knacks - the common area is too frou frou for the typical romantic getaway. Just not worth it.

Outstanding. Will definitely return.

My wife and I capped off 5 nights in Oregon with 2 nights at the Stephanie Inn in Cannon Beach in July. My only regret is that we did not spend more time here. The place was outstanding. I don't know if it was the great weather, the wine or the cookies, but we both have put this place on our "do-over" list. Our room was on the ground floor, which gave us walk-out access to the beach. The rooms on the upper floors had nice balconies, but I think I would opt for the gound floor again because of the ability to step into the sand while enjoying a glass of Pinot Noir. Our first indication this was going to be a great place was when another guest at the Youngberg Hill Inn (Also Excellent) in the Oregon wine country exclaimed how much she loved the Stephanie Inn upon learning that was where we were staying in Cannon Beach. We took their adivce and got a slice at the quirky Pizza y Feta restaurant. Very good!

Couldn't have been better!!!

This hotel was everything that we hoped it would be! Customer service is the best we have experienced anywhere.

They go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and appreciated. Little touches like the free fresh baked cookies, wine tasting, breakfast, and especially the 300+ DVD's make this hotel a must stay.

The hotel was very clean and charming. Not as luxurious (read marble tile & crystal) as some of the places we have stayed, but definitely an A++ for quality.

I have nothing negative to say about our 2 night stay. It was PERFECT!!

Simply wonderful!

We love the Sephanie Inn. We travel to Oregon frequently and we have never stayed anywhere we liked better. Be sure to enjoy the dinning room here as well. Dinners are unsurpassed! The location is right on the beach and the ocean veiw rooms are lovely.

This was my second time here, and I'll keep going back when I can, even though there are less expensive places to stay. The rooms are excellent, the food great (some healthy whole wheat bread for breakfast would be nice, however), the jacuzzi tubs (with your own yellow rubber ducky) are wonderful. The bathrobes, the cookies at the front desk, the wine tasting in the afternoon, and lots of DVDs are just some of the nice touches. And where else can you stay right on the beach--not 100 yards away, but right on the beach! The desk staff is a little officious, but all in all they do an excellent job, and I highly recommend it!

Incredible - The best place on the Oregon coast

From the time we drove into the driveway until we left Stephanie a day later - the stay was absolutely incredible. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the hotel is absolutely beautiful, the restaurant's food was world class, the rooms are comfortable and cozy -- with gas fireplaces and great views of the beach. I've stayed at several hotels in the Seaside/Cannon Beach area -- but nothing even comes close to touching the Stephanie Inn. We loved it so much we're going back next month for a longer stay!

Simply the Best!

We stayed the Stephanie Inn September 21 and 22. It was our first time visiting Cannon Beach and boy did we do well by selecting Stephanie Inn. Our 3rd floor "dormer" room was romantic and the view from the large balcony was awe inspiring. There even was very large Jacuzzi tub complete with a rubber ducky. Everything from the afternoon wine tasting to the bountiful breakfast was wonderful. Make sure to eat dinner at least once at the Inn. It was great - 5 star. The menu was remarkable as was the service. We loved the Inn so much we already made reservations to return next year.

Paradise

The liquid canvas of the Pacific echoed the shifting colors of the sky during the two days and nights we spent in Paradise, known locally as the Stephanie Inn..........The quiet comfort and casual elegance of the Stephanie Inn was everything described to us by friends who have gone there for years. From the bottomless cookie jar and comfortable seating at the front desk, to the wine, sparkling cider and cheese awaiting us each day at 4 pm in the ocean-fronting, warmly upholstered library, to the sound of the surf pulling us out to the sea of dreams each night, our stay was one of delight............Small touches count. Transport to Cannon Beach for shopping was available just for the two of us, at our convenience, in the comfort of the leather-seated, air-conditioned Ford Windstar. We were delivered and picked up promptly after we phoned the Inn that we were ready to return..........And of course, the food.

I don't know what magic Executive Chef John Newman and Executive Sous Chef Crystal Davis have been instilled with, but even the breakfast scrambled eggs and cheese were elevated to heights of glory by a wonderfully subtle blend of flavors that had my wife and I eagerly anticipating the second breakfast of our stay. .........The generous breakfast spread included sliced mangos so fresh and flavorful that they could only have come off a local tropical tree - and I've eaten mangos fresh off of a tropical tree. ........The richly red, succulent watermellon pieces lovingly complimented the hazelnut scones which lay comfortably wrapped in crystallized sugar. I know the rest of the food had to have been as good - I just couldn't get around to all of it.........The staff were unfailingly friendly and polite, responding to questions and requests quickly. The establishment was refreshingly quiet and dignified without any trace of stuffiness. We had left our two rabbits, cat and beagle at home, as did every other animal lover there.........'Peaceful' is the word that captures the essence of the Stephanie Inn. 'Eagerly' is the word that describes our plans to return to Paradise.

The best place in Cannon Beach to stay!

The Stephanie Inn is the most wonderful place my husband and I have ever stayed in. The rooms are exquisite, and romantic. The service is top notch, and the breakfast in the morning is wonderful.

Stay Here!

Cannon Beach is one of my favorite spots in the world. I have been there many, many times. This Inn is the best and most romantic place to stay. The brunch is great. I can't wait to go back.
