... Lynn had picked out a new shirt for me while shopping in the afternoon...a red short-sleeved jobby... The DBacks color. Very cool... Made me feel like a loyal fan, if only for one night.

We got back to camp in the dark, but it was much easier, what with less traffic and a bit of practice affect from the other night. A late night it was, which necessitated a late rising this morning.

Well, it's been a couple of days out here in Scottsdale and it's hot. It's been as hot as 111 but averaging around 109. Either way, it's hot and dry.

... to go that route for now, and if I have more problems or it gets more painful I will go back in. The recovery time from the operation is around 8 weeks so for now that is my decision. Picked up some meds I had ordered and headed home. Later we played pool and I lost again tonight, same as last night, but only by one ball each time. Then fixed us dinner from last night's take home and a salad we had bought today and it was good. I make Pina Colada and it was good too. February ...

Europe (June-July): Again, too far to really plan but mostly Scandinavia or other great outdoor/camping areas. Or we may do more Mediterranean area and try to dip into Africa as well.


P.S. If anyone has any connections or recommendations for any of these places I'd love to hear it! Also, if anyone is planning to visit any of these places at a similar time and would like to travel together that would be great too!
