Hello all. So due to popular demand (term used loosely) , the blog is back! I will continue to write about Mark and my travel adventures around England and Europe and wherever else we go.

So last weekend Mark and I went to Scotland! We went to Aviemore to go snowboarding with Naomi and Tim.

We left on Friday morning and boarded a flight to Inverness. The flight was quite short, (2ish hours) and we arrived and headed straight ...

... for a couple of days. It was really John's ideas as the very thought of driving backwards stresses me out. John was convinced that driving on the left was no big deal and we did not even consider other options. We were given a bright yellow Fiat 500 which I promptly named Pac–man. As the road ...

We then walked 2 miles to Urquhart Castle for a look, mostly just ruins and they charge a fortune to go in so we just took a few photos from above. Some local knowledge we learnt whilst at the cafe is that the castle isn't a typical castle, ...

The Misty Isle of Skye

... photo! That was pretty fun. After that stop, we headed back off the Isle of Skye to the mainland where we went back to the Eilean Donan castle. We went inside and got given a mini tour of a few rooms by men in kilts, and then were allowed to explore the castle by ourselves. Darren got talking to one of the guides, who showed him some of the original features of the castle that weren't on display. There was a bunch of us in the castle together, and on the staircase we all ...
