... where burial ceremonies took place 2000 years ago. Super crazy! It's supposed to be haunted too. We then drive for a while passing through the town of Grantown-of-Spey. It was supposed to have good shops but nothing was open at 11am. Maybe cause it is Sunday. We then drove a while and reached Loch Garten and the RSPB Osprey center. Then we went for a nice long drive around the outside of Loch Ness. We tried as best as we could to spot her, but unfortunately she didn't mKe an appearance for us, meaning we didn't ...

... minutes away. The Cawdor Castle is open to the public, but is also the Countess' home. Need to pay those taxes, folks! It was a self-guiding tour through two floors, with winding castle staircases. There was a mixture of old and new. Some new paintings throughout the castle, and modern photos of her and her family mixed with the usual paintings of the ancestors. We then walked the various gardens. Unfortunately, the maze ...

... and the solidity of the structure. Walker's shortbread biscuits - we pass the factory! Whisky all the way - 'Luxury' fish pie with a wee dram of 18 year Glenfiddich at the Glenfiddich Distillery is both elegant and delicious! Cragganmore Distillery, situated among the peaks of the Cairngorms, provides a whisky passport that allows free tastings at associated distilleries - we really are enjoying this! He is ...
