    ... in her element. First we had a small smoked salmon entree and then a three tier tower full off savoury goodies. We worked our way through the savouries and were nearly finished off at that stage. Then they brought out a three tier tower of all sorts of fabulous cakes and we started to work our way through that.     Holyrood Park is a Royal Park in central Edinburgh which is just gorgeous and is made up of Lochs, glens, ridges and basalt cliffs. It was formerly a 12th century Royal hunting estate. The park was created in 1541 when James V had the ground enclosed by a stone wall. The park is now publicly accessible and contains Arthur's Seat the highest point in Edinburgh and the cliffs of Salisbury Crags to the west.
