... intelligent people I have ever met so it is always a blast talking to him. We walked to the bus stop at about 2 am and rode the double decker all the way to Heathrow where Rob was nice enough to offer to wait for me. I was getting really tired by 4 am and then we said our goodbyes! I'm sure we will meet again on this year of European adventures!
My flight left at 6 am for Malaga and I got a total of 1 1/2 hours of sleep to start of my day.

... so we decided to indulge in more London Theatre. As part of our ticket we had a pre-paid dinner at Imli, an Indian Tapas restaurant. Not too shabby venue and the food was quite tasty. We then headed off to enjoy the theatre, where we were upgraded to better seats (woohoo) and so began my third London theatre experience. ... VISA **** out so I capitalised the opportunity to snake his queen size bed. I did however check facebook and send some feelers out about random ideas and plans. It was only after I recieved a call from Dan O'D followed by Jezz that I decided to put my head down. That was my official end to Friday.
1.5hrs later its 1330hrs and The boys from She Bu are hitting the cans already, gearing up for the 20Twenty cricket at Oval, Middlesex Vs Surrey. My body springs to life ...

... so I abandoned that plan for another day and headed towards Westminster.  The walk along the Thames was beautiful and featuring great views of the London Eye (a sort of Ferris wheel), WWI and WWII memorials, and several interesting artifacts stolen from the Ancient Lands and brought to England in the 19th century. (see pictures for further discussion of these objects)   Eventually, I wound up on Westminster Bridge gazing up at Big Ben.  I have lots of pictures of him ...

... He was very nice we talked about red bull flying and Airship. We spoke in English and Spanish I think he was kind he said my spanish was very good. I don't think so. ... Anyhow it got ****ed over ... and then ****ed over some more and now is in the terrible state it is today. Vicious military rule and very extreme censorship. Extreme is putting it mildly. Another interesting angle of the book is exploring the headspaces of those Indians who signed up to fight for the British Empire. Some of which broke off and created an Indian National army. They ended up fighting both the Japanese and the British. Blimey...I had no idea how ...

... puffy clouds, reminding me I should return to the station soon and rejoin my group at the hotel. I am hesitant to do so, enjoying my last few moments of solitude. On the way back, I stop at a bakery and try a chocolate croissant. It is the best I have yet consumed in Europe. It is so buttery and moist it just melts on my tongue. Delicious. ... on taking a ride on The London Eye at some point during my trip but one look at how big and high the thing was and I chickened out. And this is after only seeing it from across the river! Maybe next time I'll get my nerve up,I'll have my mom and daughter with me so that could help you never know. As I walked around I made a last minute decision to take a cruise tour down the Thames.
