Mababaleshwar was a day trip we took from Pune. Getting there was half the fun. We went through the town of Wai and Panchgani. The scenery was/is breathtaking and we enjoyed every minute of the trip. The area is know for growing strawberries, so we included a stop at Mapro Farms where we had the most wonderful strawberry milk shakes and got to see the strawberry field up close and met the Evil Bunny!

... We experienced heavy fog on our drive and so even though we were very close to the windmills we could barely see them. The weather was excellent, the air unpolluted and it was nice to be away from the madness of city life. We almost didnt want to come back to Mumbai. Alas! routine life beckoned .

It has been a week since I returned and though I did get a mild allergic attack it was well worth it :).

... traditional ayurvedic therapies in the traditional part of the hospital, not quite sure what to expect from those but we'll let you know... We also pick up our Sari's that we ordered when we went shopping with Madam (the most senior doctor in the hospital, who is also about 4ft tall) last week, we've had plenty of offers from people wanting to show us how to wear them properly so I think Wednesday evening is going to be pretty busy!
