Thursday was another day of chillin' out around New York.

Tracey and I went uptown early and wandered down East 42nd Street (in line with Times Square and running east - west across Manhattan), this is where Grand Central Station and the Chrysler Building can be found. ... collection of fighter jets. I didn't count them , but there was about 24 planes and helicopters. Phil and the boys had a good look at the planes and up in the navigation tower. There were a number of exhibits, hands on activities for the boys and a submarine to tour. Before we knew it, it was 2.30 and we had been there for 3 and a half hours!

... birthday and how old I am. Because I had run out of cash I had to pay for the drinks on the card and there was a minimum $15 spends so we had to have two drinks each. They all kept threatening to get me shots which I told them would be a waste of money or would get Claire very drunk. Instead Claire went to the bar got them to shine a spotlight on me and got everybody to sing happy birthday. I wanted to hide under the table.
