Those of you who have followed us on our trips before know that John likes to add his two-cents to my blog, and he isn't always politically correct. He's too tired to write anything tonight. For Karen's friends who don't know us, I apologize in advance.

Our destination for tomorrow is Salina, KS. ...

Happy birthday to my love and my favorite clown, John! We celebrated after the show with wine, junk food, and four episodes of "Girls". A very lovely day which would have only been lovelier if we could have spent it with friends and family back home. But everyone sent John wonderful birthday greetings throughout the entire day, so I know we weren't far from people's thoughts. :)

First stop was Millers Dry Goods....an Amish store that sells all sorts of fabrics, nic nacs and haberdashery. Lucky us.....they were having a sale!!!! Fabrics ranged fro $3-$8 yard. I didn't buy much there. ...

      ... guard dog.

We stopped by a daycare to see if they would mind a 20 minute clown show (we’ve learned daycares can NEVER resist a break from their kids) and J.P. did two shows in two different classrooms…the kids had just woken up from their naps, so they were a bit bleary-eyed at first, but by the end they were all laughing and having fun.

The firemen were impressed with the amount of flyers we were able to hand out that afternoon, ...
