Although the rooms are small, the location is convenient from Paddington but it DOES NOT include breakfast although they do will offer you a very overpriced one downstairs which I would not recommend. We arrived from an early flight and they were able to accommodate an early check-in which we really appreciated. This is our second time at a Shaftesbury which we find perfect for an overnighter in London.

After saying goodbye to Toli and Saint Richard we left Mansfield and headed to Nottingham Train Station. Accompanied by Cousins Louise and Rebecca, MDW and I dragged our bags with the help of the cousins aboard the train to London. We could not of managed without their help. We took up all available luggage shelves and settled in for the two hour …

We lie in the grass talking **** about the young guys doing rugby training, laughing at two of them we figure might be gay, then Jack leaves and we go through my blog. I explain that the reason I was distant when she started putting effort in was because for the whole trip everyone had told me these signs I was seeing weren't ...

... they had a whole spy material section, a TV you can control with your hand from like 20 feet away, and even a whole section of Harry Potter material. Unfortunately things were too expensive for us, but it was fun to look at and wonder who actually buys these things... We then headed home picking up our Chunnel tickets on the way! Watched the last few minutes of the Brazil football match before going to bed for another exciting day tomorrow! - ...

... Palace. We could not believe how many people were crowded around the Palace for the event. We did not get a great look at the ceremony through the gates, however we did get some great pictures of the guards entering and leaving. After the Changing of the Guard, we went to see the Guards Museum, which displayed the history of the Royal Guards. The Museum of three guards housed many treasures including treasures captured from both world wars and the Guard uniforms which ...
