Although the rooms are small, the location is convenient from Paddington but it DOES NOT include breakfast although they do will offer you a very overpriced one downstairs which I would not recommend. We arrived from an early flight and they were able to accommodate an early check-in which we really appreciated. This is our second time at a Shaftesbury which we find perfect for an overnighter in London.

... camp, wearing thongs to the showers, lining up for the bathroom, and buffet style breakfast. Aside from the fact that I had snorers in my room and was aghast that such a noise could be made at night time, the place wasn’t too bad. The bed was comfy, and I’d probably stay there again if I needed to. It was called Palmers Lodge, located in Swiss Cottage, North West London. It’s a very nice area.

... out the zebras house. This involved putting all the zebra poo in a pile and then scooping it up and throwing into a poo bin. Six rooms of zebra poo isn’t really my idea of total fun but I’ll do anything for a happy zebra so I scooped zebra poo for a good hour. After our hard work here we were rewarded with a giraffe feed. We have three female giraffe’s here at London zoo. The giraffes are all so lovely - a little ...
