The architecture along our walk is amazing with detailed facades, archways and pillars galore. I'm surprised our necks don't kink from looking up all the time. (I'm also grateful to the courteous pigeons who don't take advantage of our gawking!)

Although the rooms are small, the location is convenient from Paddington but it DOES NOT include breakfast although they do will offer you a very overpriced one downstairs which I would not recommend. We arrived from an early flight and they were able to accommodate an early check-in which we really appreciated. This is our second time at a Shaftesbury which we find perfect for an overnighter in London.
