... into the pub to use their free wifi to let Julia know I was here & she was online waiting for me so they rushed down to pick me up thankfully, I stopped stressing as soon as I saw her. We came back to her house & rob had got some kopparberg drinks in the fridge for me so I cracked one open & then we all went to bed as Julia has work in the morning & rob is going fishing tomorrow. But I am lying in bed for as long as I can! Some much needed sleep is required for my ...

... up the top of the hill. Spent half an hour taking in the views and then back down to car for trip into Newcastle. All plain sailing. Miles was no problem, greeted us as if he had known us all his life. Delightful wee 20 month old. Both Tony and Arana have bad backs, Tony's enough to keep him ...

On then to another NT property, Fountains Abbey. This was incredible, beautiful gardens, a magnificent old ...

We slept in a bit this morning but Annie insists I say that we still left at 8.30. The weather has been warm and sunny all day. First class. We headed off this morning for an hour's drive from Dundee to St. Andrews. There were roadwork diversions in place and we did a couple of circuits of a roundabout before we got ourselves on the Tay Bridge. We found some free parking at Gateway in St. Andrews, about 300 metres from the town centre. We walked down to the ...
