... for the next phase of my vacation, a stay at Vista Verde Ranch. The ranch picked me up at 4:15pm and we made the 40 min drive to the ranch. I got my usual room “Pearl” in the main lodge. At the ranch you can choose to book a cabin or a lodge room—both are beautifully decorated and while cabins give you more space, I find the lodge to be the most convenient location.

... is a shame to waste a cupcake, but I knew I wouldn’t have time to eat them both later. The Brooklyn Blackout was great—rich, moist and fudgy. I also really liked the yellow American cupcake. I much preferred the butter cream icing to their meringue icing on their other cupcakes.
