    ... type of creative culture for several weeks! We drove to geologically interesting Canal Rocks and Smiths Beach, and on to highly regarded local ‘Knee Deep’ Winery for wine tastings and a delicious, convivial lunch.     ... need to practise changing a wheel. I might visit my mechanic for that one as they weigh a bit and I don't even know if I can lift it.
    Another lovely friend has given me a very motherly piece of advice - make sure I stay where the truckies are!~! Not quite sure about this one but I am sure I will be looking for one of these kind people if the wheel does need work.

    ... trip, also from Melbourne, and great facilities of this caravan park (needs to be at $60p/n). Swimming in the pool, watching the ducks and swans on the lake near our site and catching up on those domestic chores that never go away. We also spent a day visiting Fremantle, everyone liked this day, it had something for all of us. We walked the streets and enjoyed a coffee and cake in the cappuccino strip.     ... would be best choice. Previously we have taken polyester bags when cycling but we had good success with the down bags in a waterproof stuff bag on the Camino and these were very compact so we decide to that these (they are one of our oldest sleeping bags but still seem to be working OK).

    Having taken care of the sleeping arrangements the next task is the eating arrangements. Heating the pots is always an issue because of different availability of fuel ...

    ... and Lucas take a well earned break to go camping in Albany celebrating a friends 50th. Their dog Elsa is gorgeous, but deaf ! So letting her off the lead is a bit risky especially as she likes chasing cars ! Luckily there is a safe dog beach just 10 minutes away.  She has already trained us to let her into the van whenever she wants company, by barking at the door, which is a bit odd considering she can't hear herself bark ...
