Hes an italian from Milan but went to uni in manchester and speaks real good english, we explored town a bit and saw the beach etc which was real nice. ... into a vibrant yachting &amp; tourist centre. <br><br>Perth itself is very tranquil with tree-lined avenues &amp; many parks, the best being Kings Park the world&#8217;s largest inner city park (I&#8217;m surprised it isn&#8217;t a World Heritage site).<br> We liked the free busses around town &amp; hopped on them to see the museums &amp; sights, one of which was the Bell Tower which houses the bells from St Martin-in-the-Fields, London ...

... just near the tree tops of the tingle (red in the native tongue) trees which are eucalyptus trees. These trees live to be over 400 years old and have narrow bases and add legs to support themselves. This was really something to see and to walk the suspension bridge. We stopped at the park in Wapole for lunch. There are alot of wildflowers this afternoonand also several Nat'l Parks. We got lost in Pemberton and had to use the GPS to get us to the caravan park where we stayed ...

... Fremantle picked up my 11 rolls of films and popped into a couple more shops, then stopped in at the beach just before the campground for a walk and to see the sunset. Had our last supper in the caravan - spaghetti with sundried tomato pesto. After dinner we looked through my photos, picking out the best ones and discarding those that were out of focus or otherwise deficient (threw out 1/3 of the pictures!) Have some great photos thoug, and was fun reliving the first half of our trip.
