... I'm staying at a Four Seasons hotel I did expect more, but its ok, but nowhere near that of Crown Towers in Melbourne.. but hey, I don't need the luxury, I'm only here for 3 nights. So I spent the afternoon sorting myself out, obtaining access to the internet (such a problem to get free access here) and updating you all with whats happened so far!

I did pop out for dinner, checked out some of the hotels facilities and ...
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia mariamarshallArrived in Cairns and then took the bus to Port Douglas for our 3 day stay. We spent one day snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef and one day touring the Daintree and Port Tribulation. We spent the last day in Cairns which is "touristy" but still worth a trip for the restaurants and shopping. The flight back to Sydney is close to 3 hours so it's a manageable hop and well worth the time.
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia marthar... back to the sea so it was long winded and at 6 degrees and not feeling my extremities we headed back in at 9. All in all thou a good trip.
The following day started with a jog. We were going on the ...

Sydney, New South Wales, Australia thomas.yurysta... I'm not personally guilty of my countries offences. On the other hand there is a definite respect that many people have for Americans. Many people who have this respect, especially Australians, who are from their own westernized country, are bitter about it and don't want to admit that they're partial towards America. In the end how could they not be when such a high percentage of the media they are exposed to and the products and ...
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia bethpelletier... have been thought of.
On the way bakc though jo recieved a whole new set of unexplainable bruises. - Except the largest one which is a product of her getting her entire arm stuck in a railing. We're still not sure why she put her arm in a railing orgiinally but the bruise is impressive to say the least.

Leaving australia today to head to thailand. Semi-sad but then woo for thailand.
So yeah, we shall let you know how thailand goes :D
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia jokatie... in Sydney we headed straight to our hostel where we crashed out for the entire day. Our first night in the hostel was mental. There were three girls from Liverpool uni, an American couple and some people from Denmark. Even though i was feeling like i could drop down and die, Jess had cabin fever from the waiting around in Singapore and the time spent traveling and so needed to go out. Knowing that i would still be ill for a few days i figured that if i pushed the boat out ...
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia melimeli... the way places where you can still find reasonable prices as mostly things are about the same price as the UK. We worked our way down the coast to Soldiers Point at Port Stephens and had another great week of fishing and playing tennis at the club opposite the park. The weather was still hot but the beaches in the area were covered in seaweed and not as nice as we'd come to expect. We also just found out it is a favourite area for ...
