... decision to go to bed before my view doubled and my stomach emptied.
Day 2:
I awoke feeing groggy once again (no, it wasn’t to do with the wine/rum, honest!) but my mind was still racing with a barrage of possible choices. I felt pressured by the sudden speed at which money p*sses away here – spend a day at a guest house reading a free book whilst cooking for yourself, using every free resource at your disposal (coffee, tea, pasta, rice, one wine, some ...
Arrived at Hotel…. OMG its THE Crowne Towers at the Casino complex! Very posh.. but… GRRR… yes my room is not ready to check in! So now have to wait for a phonecall as to when it is ready, so off I go into the sunshine to find a cafe for a drink. At this point I am shattered, look awful, feet are swollen (from the flight).. so I manage about 100yds grab a drink & sit by the river ...

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia abol.com.au... zone with fund-raising, but with my mum, sister, sister-in-law & close mate all having suffered/suffering from cancer, it was quite easy to get motivated around that.
Adam & I have temporarily ditched our preferred MTBs, and have been exclusively riding our road bikes in preparation. We're managing approx 300-400kms per week, squeezed in between daily-life commitments. One long ...

We found the car and headed out ot
Whangarei to stay with Michelle's cousin Charmain and her family (
Husband Simon and Ellie and Ethan their 2 kids). After a few failed
attempts to find a phone box to let them know we were on our way, we
headed north.
Arriving shortly before 10pm, we stayed
up a little while to have a chat to Charmain and Simon before turning
in for bed
So gestern wars dann soweit.
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia frechdaxxx... of incense was quite overpowering. We went into a prayer tower, that had people praying on prayer stools. Liam sat down on the prayer stools, mistaking them for little chairs. He wasn't the only one to make this mistake, as there was another family's kids wo were lyig down across three prayer stools before their parents rescued them. The Buddhas were all beautifuly decorated, and the prayer halls were filled with gold and insence. It was a similar set-up to the Forbidden ...
Hong Kong, China amyfisher... Our trip to St. Kilda was short and sweet, our aim was fish n´chips and that´s what we got. The beach was lovely and had it been a clear day it would have been nice apart from the amusement park and the seaside resort feel (not as bad a Blackpool). But again it so reminded me of my trips to Bournemouth, Pool and Hastings and if it was not for the funny accents ;-) , I could have been only 2 hours flight from Copers and ...
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia lctd... a house where young people from all over the world can get a room (usually shared) for pretty cheap. No big surprise that they're usually messy, artsy, and basically a party house, which is true for the one I'm staying at. It's cheaper and a good way to meet people but I don't think I'll be staying there too long as it's pretty far from any action and I want to get my own room. I've had something to do ...
