... said our goodbyes and were on our way!! It's sad to say goodbye not knowing when we will see them again but we loved seeing them and spending time with them!!!

We drove for 10 hours, only stopping to fill up and switch drivers and arrived in Avon around 10pm with it being zero degrees out!!

Now we have our snowboard and winter things, we spent some time getting it all unpacked and organised before getting some sleep!!

It was getting late so we headed back and enjoyed every part of the hike all over again -On the drive back, Cheyenne was so tired after a good 4 hours on the go and kept falling asleep with her head on Darrens arm rest ...very cute! As we drove off, we saw a bunch of mule deer...however we didn't see much ...

        ... mountains today.

After sorting a few boring bits of paperwork out, we headed up to Beaver Creek for a hike. We did the Beaver Lake hike which is about 3 miles each way up the was so hot so all the trees were welcome shade for us. Once we reached the lake, we found a spot to sit and had a homemade energy bar. It was pretty quiet up there with only a few other people around the lake so it was really peaceful and ...
