... into their staterooms.

The bar was, as one would expect, jammed save one table was occupied by a lone (elderly) woman. I asked if she would be willing to share and she curtly informed me that “my friends are getting food.” I thanked her anyway and rolled my bag to an open place by the rail, went to the bar, ordered a Bud Light, and returned to lean on the rail and people-watch. ... and a hat, I quicky went yesterday to buy a sunscreen. I had no proper sailing shoes, but since I didn't do anything on board anyway :-) I just stayed bare feet!

... play it by ear, don’t look like a first-timer – “Act casual Rodney, act casual!”

In actual fact there was luggage everywhere, I wasn’t the only one travelling heavy. Something wasn’t right with the numbering of the cabins. I only realised half a mile down that they were all even numbers and mine was odd. AARGGHH! Back she goes to cross over to the other side of the ship et Voila – odd numbers, woohoo!! Now most men ...
