Ein Traumtag.
... Scheu mit dem Rest des Futters welches Crocodile noch nicht verfüttert hatte. Die Jungtiere sind dabei wirklich scheu und es dauert eine Weile, bis sie nicht mehr schreckhaft zurückweichen wenn ich mich bewege.
Während ich noch am füttern bin kommt auch schon der Hufschmied, der eines der Pferde beschuhen soll. Ich hatte am Vorabend aus „Shoed" – „Shot“ gemacht und war schon wirklich irritiert warum mich Crocodile so leichtmütig ...
Aufbruch gen Norden!
... Beide Kinder sehen toll aus in ihrer Schuluniform und ich denke einmal mehr, dass das eigentlich echt eine gute Sache ist. Nur auf Wills Hut könnte man meiner Meinung nach auch verzichten... J Den muss er aber auf dem Weg zur Schule und auf dem Weg nach Hause tragen, wenn er keinen Ärger bekommen will.
Als die Kinder und Gary los sind legt sich Penny noch einmal 10 Minuten hin und wir fangen an unsere 7 Sachen zusammen zu packen und uns fertig zu machen.

Apples, grapes, wine, a lighthouse and a gaol!
On a very hot day we set off from Toowoomba and drove down to Stanthorpe on the Granite Belt. We are meeting here with our caravan club for the weekend as it is the Apple and Grape Festival.
Stanthorpe is a pleasant country town and they certainly put on a great festival for the weekend. A great parade, plenty of craft, market stalls and bands to entertain!
