... it, they can't actually count how many bats there are in the caves because the smell is so bad. They can only guess and there are 100s of thousands of millions of bats in the caves here. This is demonstrated in the fact that it's a solid continual stream of them leaving the cave for over an hour. Plus apparently only a fraction of them leave the caves each night so the millions we saw weren't even a majority of the population. The bats fly around 6. I tried filming it ...

An half an hour stop was made along the way at a sugar cane place where they showed us how they made candies out of it. Interesting enough, nothing was purchased.
