... it, they can't actually count how many bats there are in the caves because the smell is so bad. They can only guess and there are 100s of thousands of millions of bats in the caves here. This is demonstrated in the fact that it's a solid continual stream of them leaving the cave for over an hour. Plus apparently only a fraction of them leave the caves each night so the millions we saw weren't even a majority of the population. The bats fly around 6. I tried filming it ...

Glancing around, the sights of the narrow canals all jammed up by hundreds of vendors in their small colorful rowing boats were quite something to watch. These locals, young and old, sold everything from fruits and vegetables to spices and meat! Some even cooked on their boats where grease splashed all around from their small portable propane stoves while a white ...

You might wonder what was so interesting at the floating market to anxiously want to go there in the first place but according to my travel guide book, one doesn’t go to Bangkok without visiting this very popular tourist attraction! Say no more! Exciting! Yep!

I managed to last like this until around 3pm when the Gods decided to send another thunderstorm - which in turn led to the inevitable - powercut. Great! So not only now was I sick and sweating the aircon was gone and the room was beginning to turn into a human size ...
... degrees heat without aircon and all street lights are powered by the same grid then this becomes somewhat of an issue. this was now a waiting game as to when the one and only company engineer would make his way to our street - little did we know that is was going to be a while!
