    ... and I were unable to extend our stay at the hostel we'd booked for the first couple of nights so on our way to scuba diving walked past a sign saying rooms available. It was only just open, with a swimming pool and really classy rooms. Outside our 'pod' we had a daybed sun lounger and more I portably out own space!! It was really lovely and after negotiating him down, cost no more between the two of us than the two beds in the hostel had been. ...

    ... customs to be greeted by the three of us with open arms - huge hugs and massive smiles all around. Being fairly late we didn't hang around and jumped in a taxi, taking us about an hour and a half East, to Padang Bai for a night stop before catching the boat over to the Gili Islands, just off of Lombok. We were set for the afternoon the only time we moved was to cool off in the pool or get drinks at the pool bar.     ... offered mushrooms and the likes instead, these folk are unreal! The beach here wasnt as fine as down at gili divers so we kept on going and ending up finding coral beach 1. Just past coral beach 1 and the beach was the same, unbareable on your feet. Saw jen there aswell and she said heaps as per usual, shes weird like.     ... it wasn't sunny, or maybe it was the lack of sand and the presence of plastic rubbish, but we weren't impressed. This reality was far from the pictures online- we weren't really sure what to do but we knew we didn't want to stay here any longer!
