... bars. We stopped at rudy's for a spot of lunch and indulged in some cold beers with the sea about 2 metres away from us. We then went back to our room which had a little porch so we sat and listened to music and purchased some beer from the lady next door. She was very sweet and was sat there with her friend listening to our music and gave us some bananas to eat which was so sweet. It's amazing how people with so little can be so incredibly generous. Pulling over we joined the crowd in watching groups of adults and children attempt to climb bamboo poles covered in coconut oil to reach the prizes on offer at the top. It was a great spectacle with the sun out, music playing and the sound of everyone cheering the climbers on! The adult men seemed ...

... sauce. It was late by the time we wandered back to our room across the road at the Matahari.
Last day there was a wash. Yes we had minor hangovers but I had what some call "Delhi Belly". I couldn't go too far from We tried a new place for lunch the day before. Turns out we shouldn't have. We really only made two trips off the hotel compound, for cash and to return the bike we rented and say good-bye to Hermann. New beaches await!
