Feeling all fuelled again we hopped back on the boat and went to our final snorkel stop, the ship wreck. ... my breathing. I had plenty of air, but I was sucking it now, and not breathing gently. All I could think was "I want out. I want out. I want out."

I wanted out. Now. I was thirsty. I couldn't get enough air (I thought) even though I had plenty. I was tired. And I wanted to go up so bad. But if I did, I'd get the bends. They say it's the worst pain you can have, but who knows. I closed my eyes and tried to slow everything down but when ...
