The last few days in Brisbane weren't as eventful as the last, however they were just as important as it allowed us to catch up with the more tedious side of traveling like laundry and planning the rest of our route down to Sydney. Once this was done we spent the rest of the time walking round the city centre or hopping on and off the free loop bus admiring the views of ...

We are away by 9am so we must be getting more organised. It is noticeably warmer this morning and we didn't put the heater on when we had our wake-up cuppa!. Doris tells us to get to the coast. Ritually via Brisbane, but we don't want to go that way as it is a nicer run to go via Boonah and Beaudesert. The run over the mountains is really lovely and the view when ...

... forest, no building or any form of development. People arrive like us, by boat, or by helicopter, there were three on the beach, or by seaplane of which there was one, and leave the same way. But the 100 or so people all melted into the line of shade along the fringe of the beach and it just absorbed everyone up, so the beach itself just looked pristine and beautiful. Its got to be one of the most spectacular in the world, we think.

      We had ...
