The lines are long heading to Kiawah this morning but we are looking forward to an exciting day!
Notes from today:
1. Followed Tiger's and Rory's group on front nine. Rory is in charge and it's his tournament to win or lose.
2. Sitting near 13th green, watching Tiger's group come in and watching live coverage at PGA.com on iPad at same time. Golf heaven!

... new dishes (at least to me) today, and found them both quite good. The plantation sold deep fried peanuts which you pop in your mouth and eat shell and all. I enjoyed the sample we got, but Michelle wasn’t a fan of eating the peanut shell or its texture.
At dinner we ate at a pasta restaurant near our hotel and tried its Italian Nachos appetizer, which consists of tortilla chips topped with parmesan alfredo, beef, sausage, tomato-basil, and melted ...
... which was a balmy 70 degrees - we swept the shore for interesting shells and hoped to pick up a shark's tooth or two. Sadly, no luck :-(
One curious thing we've observed is that you don't seem to have to wear a motorcycle helmet in South Carolina. We've been passed by lots of weekend Harley riders with bare heads poking up above high handlebars.

Kiawah Island, South Carolina is where my family and I vacation every year. It is also a place where the heat and humidity combine to form a place that must be easily mistaken for hell; however, it is a beautiful island resort that isn't full of trashy folk, "damn yankees," or Canadians (though I do love my Canadians) such as Myrtle Beach.
