We figured being in Missouri we needed to stop by Kansas City for some amazing BBQ since the city is known for it!! We stopped at.... We ordered 4 huge meals and shared between the four of us!! We don't think we could eat at another BBQ place again that is how good it was!! After this we drove to a town in the middle of no where (3 hours east of Denver) on I-70 West in Kansas State next to a town called Kanarado (we loved this name) and got a hotel to get some shut ...

Switched hotels today for a better deal and the hotel is so nice and on the Main Street. This area is called The Plaza and seems to be the city centre although it feels more like a posh town. There were a couple of musicians on the street and a couple of street magicians. Had quite a lazy day and a day of food. By the time ...

We popped in and got kicked out shortly afterwards as it was late. It was free and pretty cool, so we may go back ...

... They had just finished a big organ and were in the process of rebuilding one for a Lutheran Church in Manhattan, KS (not NY). There are different sections all through the building but the first thing we were shown was the time clock where employees clocked in for work. This clock was used from the beginning of the company in 1917 until 1963.It does still work even though they don’t use it any longer. They make all the consoles and ...

... to check out his baby grand and play a bit of music before heading out. We were feeling a little sentimental for our last night, so we decided to go to Winsteads for one last skyscraper. We did our reflection and affirmation circle there in the booth which was nice and fun. When the glass was empty, we headed back to the house where we got to talk to the sisters for a bit, then tried to get to bed quickly after packing. Elaine and I talked for a while before bed, and then we passed ...
