... able to have a good look around. Dean was in seventh heaven and, surprise, surprise, his favourite part was the dungeon. It WAS a beautiful castle and we really got a feel for life in the day, even though there were no furnishings. The structure of the castle has been well preserved and it would be our favourite so far (and we have a few to choose from!).

From Skipton we decided to head south via back roads ...

HALLOWEEN!!!

I was Elphaba from Wicked or the wicked witch of the west for people who haven't see wicked. I was green for THREE days but it was totally worth it.

It was also Emma's birthday so we had a party at our house before going into town.
