... And bored now... Then we googled good bars to hit in São Paulo. The first bar we went to was called Skye, it was similar to Blu bar in the Shangrila in that it was on the top floor in a hotel and stupidly expensive. ... to told us it wasn´t up to much. However, we were plesently surprised with the Vila Madalena area which was considred the bohemian area of the city. There were lots of lovely cafes and restaurants, boutique, retro and independent shops and lots of art gallaries. ... sort of. No flight left later than 30+ after the posted departure time. Huge signs in Sao Paulo airport demanded you be at the gate 2 hours prior to flight. We were there earlier than demanded. We were the only people in the airport, only people at security, only people in "Doodie Free", the only people at the gate until about 15 minutes prior to departure time. Not boarding time, leaving the gate time. This happened at every single airport. When in Rome.....
