... to the GIANT duty free gift shop in this airport and, although they have the cream and lotion of the scent, naturally they don't have the perfume. Which is stupid. I asked a lady and she was kind of rude about it. It seems like the people here in the airport don't have much patience for people who don't speak Portuguese. Miami seems more bilingual than Brazil. Which is weird. Because most Brazilians speak Spanish or can at least understand it. I don't know if that isn't ...

After the game we leave the fan fest (as you would probably think is normal) but as we get out it appears we have missed a trick as music starts blaring and we are descended upon by thousands of brazilians who unbeknownst to us had been locked out of the fan fest during the game as it was ...

Ash went off to the Fan Fest to watch Germany v Portugal while Lucy waited for the laundry to finish (typical ...

We got a very rubbish rate as their currency is not worth much at the minute and nobody wants it. Once back at the hostel we arranged a transfer to the airport and was all packed and ready to go. Our flight was different to Jo's as it was full by the time we had got around ...

... to be picked up by a bus to a Siemens factory at the border of Sao Paulo at 7.30am. The bus arrived at 8.30am - traffic jam! The hotel/Siemens distance was 67km - it took us 1,5 hours and that was a reportable record - despite traffic jam! However, the bad end came in the evening. IMAGINE - the distance of 5km from MAN HQ to the hotel took us 1 hour and 45 minutes. Yepp - 1 hour and 45 ...
