Washing day

Day just chilling in Horsford and a spot of cheap and cheerful lunch at The Oaks. Washing done and nicely drying in the sun ready for our next stint.

Edinburgh for 2 nights then 'old London Town for 7. Plenty of people to catch up with and so looking forward to it. Will have a day up the East End, go and view the Shard plus lots more in the greatest city in the world. (Oh ok that's always debatable but certainly one of the greatest)

The B&B was a bit out of the areas so we walked expectantly to a pub on the sea front that the ...

... beautiful. We stopped at a place called Cromer with beaches so far below us that there was danger of vertigo just looking down. It was a quaint place with narrow alleys to walk down and explore. They really do have amusement palaces like in the old movies and the piers with rides and so on. We found this at Great Yarmouth as well. These holiday towns really only fully operate over the UK summer when the schools go on summer ...

Rich - Saxmundham to Beccles

After a hearty breakfast and also a quick visit to the least busy Waitrose that I've ever been in, we set off on our day's journey. Today's route would take us back to the sea via Dulwich and Southwold and then inland to our stop for the night at Beccles.

Strangely we saw very little of the sea, glimpsing it at Dulwich and then when we took a short detour at Southwold to have a look at the beach.
