... Fortunately I found a large one and being such a skilled captain now managed without much trouble. The handover again was incredibly smooth and fast. They topped up our diesel tanks (we used only about 25 litres), we got our luggage into the car, handed back the life vests and were on the road in no time. What luck we had ...

Our next mooring experience was at Ludham Bridge. Equal disaster, coming in to quickly, banging into the moorings etc. Jane got very flustered, I got very angry but eventually hauled the boat in again via the ropes. I will have big biceps by the end of this - if the boat survives.

We walked into Ludham which was a ...

... and we arrived at Ric*******'s boat yard at just after 3 pm. We checked in where they retook our details (I had invested into an envelope and stamp to send these to them as requested). We then passed the door where we collected our life jackets and headed for Swan Quay to collect the "Trinidad 1", our boat. We checked in with the Stewart who informs us that they had many inductions to do but that we should get our luggage ...
