Another 'first week in July', another Godiva Festival. This was looking like a good one. I’d taken the day off to do some messing about and to get checked in to the Days Hotel before meeting Julie at the station. We stopped on bollards at Windmill End to remove various items from the prop. A boat came from the tunnel and turned under the bridge towards Hawne Basin, and we followed about five minutes behind.
