... strips we may have been unimpressed and disappointed. To really experience a country put yourself outside your comfort zone, head off the beaten track, utilise local transport in vans built for 10 and share with 15 or 20 locals and eat the local food. Enjoy the amazing natural environment and share your experience with passionate ...

They had some very impressive exhibits, herds of elephants, dinosaurs, bears, whales, giant turtles etc. We saw some moon rocks, meteorites and some very expensive gems. We did some souvenir shopping after lunch and then came home and started packing. Went out for dinner and had a typical American meal. Massive plates of food were put in front of us, we ...

... strange and being back online felt good. Back at the port area, there are a lots of nice duty-free stores selling expensive stuff like diamonds and fancy watches. The more touristy souvenir stores were also handing out free tastings of their rum and I particularly liked the banana rum and cream. For $15, its inexpensive for a 1L bottle. However, we didn't pick up any because the ship doesn't allow us to drink it onboard. Instead, they keep it and then ...
